Across the borough of Tameside frontline workers showing no symptoms can be rapid tested. If you're unable to work from home and need to come into contact with others at work you'll be eligible for rapid testing.
The tests are aimed at key workers like health and social care staff, nurseries and early years staff, carers, taxi drivers, other transport workers, those working in manufacturing and retail, police, fire, retail workers and frontline utility staff.
If you have had a Covid vaccination it is still important to come for rapid lateral flow testing as it is still possible to become infected with Covid, not have symptoms and pass it on to others.
If you have had Covid it is still important to come for rapid lateral flow testing. This is because it is possible to catch Covid twice and people’s antibodies decline at differing rates.

If you test positive, you'll need to:
Self-isolate immediately.
